Flowering Ginger

The courtyard will be filled with the Gardenia like fragrance from these blossoming Ginger plants.

Had to stand on a stool to get this shot as the blossoms are at the top of six foot
stalks. The ants are attracted to the fragrance of these flowers.

Shot late last week and process today.

Very delicate flower and the capture is spot on. White against black can be very tricky to expose properly. Well done Bryan. Voted.

Worth the peril of perching on a stool. Perfect angle and composition. I like the sole leaf in the background. Very pretty flower and I see the ant. Is this the ginger you can eat?
