Finally found this Burrowing Owl along the trails of Shoreline Park in Mountain View.
A large section of the park is closed for these Owls to live and nest in.

A treasure of a capture. How wonderful to see this little guy!! These owls had a habitat near a park in my neighborhood where they stood bravely guarding their burrows, until the land was paved over, heartbreaking. Beautiful work, Bryan. VVV
