A Perseid Meteor and Lick Observatory

A streak across the long exposure star trails in the upper left corner.
A very impressive meteor shower with many bright streaks until the moon rose over the mountains.

Also with a lot of car headlights driving to the top of Mount Hamilton this night.

Shot at Grant Ranch County Park.
