Standing outside in the Lamar Valley at minus 25 degrees(-25)Fahrenheit, just to catch a glimpse of a wolf, is something best left to hardy humans. And even the most hardy still have their moments...
This couple were Researchers from the Yellowstone Institute. A typical day for them consists of long hours of boredom just waiting in the cold. However, their boredom is often spiced by the brief excitement of seeing wolves and being able to analize wolf activity. That makes having to tolerate the harsh conditions of a Yellowstone winter worth it.
