Following an unusually warm March, a hard and lengthy freeze hit in early April. This extreme cold snap killed most of the emerging Spring flowers. It also severely delayed leaf development of trees and bushes throughout Northwest Missouri.
While everything around it still looked like Winter, this lovely flowering, wild bush was a rare and most welcome, Springtime sight!
