"Pink Cayman " Yoder Dwarf Hibiscus 7--19-24

I got this plant via "mail order" back in early May.
There was something about it that immediately made me feel concerned. Nothing concrete, but I just had a "bad feeling". Therefore, this hibiscus was put on our front porch away from all my other plants. It then thrived. Since early June, it has been putting out all kinds of pretty blooms.

Due to my current back limitations, my husband brought it indoors to where I could sit down and photograph the flowers that I've never photographed before. I took just two shots before noticing some kind of bugs swarming out the drain holes at the bottom of the pot. Ugh!!! Enough was enough!!! The plant immediately went back to the front porch. Plus, the table (that it was briefly sitting on indoors) was sanitized.

Pretty flowers. However, I sure don't want this plant in my house nor near any of my other plants. I'm not sure what I'll do with it when the weather eventually turns too cold for tropical hibiscuses outdoors. I may have to consider it an expensive $75 annual. Meanwhile, it's currently pretty by itself on the porch where it will remain for now.
