This is the first daylily that I've ever pot grown. I bought the bulb early Spring 2023. She grew leaves all last Summer 2023, and then she spent the Winter in our Solar Room. Now, over a year later, she is in bud for the very first time. The bulb variety has a different official "name' given it by the hybridizer. However as soon as my husband saw the plant in bud today, he immediately renamed her.
Can you see why?

Oh, oh, here it comes, baby
Tell the bums, baby
Oh, oh, no!
Ooh, hit the dirt, baby
Red alert, baby
Oh, oh, no!
Oh, oh, no!

One more guess: https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=little%20shop%20of%20horrors%20after%20trying%20to%20eat%20audrey&mid=25A63D39D5A2877A39F025A63D39D5A2877A39F0&ajaxhist=0
But if you never watch movies or go to plays, maybe none of this makes sense... Then, we can just go back to the name that the daylily's hybridizer gave the above plant; which was: "Best Seller". After all, it is a daylily and really not a "Mean Green Mother".
I look forward to seeing the fully opened flower.
