May Day 2017

Traveling "Light"

Actually, this is what I normally take - as a solo traveler - on my longer trips. Two of the bags (and the raincoat) are full of camera/computer gear... I "need" everything I take. Write the camera stuff off as "work gear".

Things go a whole lot easier when my husband travels with me. He only takes a small or medium suitcase for himself. He then handles all my stuff, too. That's what good hubbies are for... 😇

Nevertheless, I have managed to make my way across all 7 (6 if you now don't count the Arctic) Continents during many, many, many trips with all my gear & without him. If there is a will, there is a way. The sights my Pelican case has seen. In all honesty, I actually have lightened my travel packing. I no longer take a tripod.

PS This must have been a shorter trip because I normally take two of the large suitcases. This photo has one medium & one large: not the normal, double large ones.

That looks like a lot to haul around. Just curious- what camera gear do you pack?

Impressive haul.
I followed my friends advice with just carry-on luggage and backpack for my extended travel.
