"As hot as a chili pepper, 'Venetian Pepper' blooms with 7-8" fiery orange, yellow and red single flowers. It gets its name and its hot colors from parents 'Venetian Brick' and 'Hot Pepper.' Released from HVH in 2010."

A welcome, flowering, Winter addition to our living room.
She summers outside on our back deck.
Purchased directly from the hybridizer, Venetian Pepper joined my house plant collection in 2020. That was back when the pandemic forced me to turn to mail ordering new plants, rather than just buying them locally. In 2023, the hybridizer retired. I feel very fortunate to have acquired several of his gorgeous varieties of hibiscus that now can't be found anywhere else. In hindsight, I wish I had known about Hidden Valley Hibiscus before I accidently discovered them in 2020.
