Ready to Pick 7-26-23

After not growing tomato plants for several years (because of our wildlife problem),
I decided to try container growing 3 plants on our upper deck this year.

My endeavor has been a success!!!
Our second one of the three varieties now has ripe tomatoes ready to pick.
After I took this photo, we had the above beauties: sliced, with fresh basil and mozzarella cheese. Yum!!!

Oh yeah.... and Not to forget fresh tomato sandwiches like BLTs I will even pick a close one as I pass our garden on the lawn tractor for a snack on the fly 8-)
