Full Moon in the Clouds 8-01-23

This second supermoon of 2023 will be at its "fullest" at 1:32 p.m. (afternoon) Central time. Above is the scene over our backyard at 2:38 am (wee hours of the morning) or 11 hours earlier than peak fullness.

Today also continues a string of very hot and stormy days & nights into August.

As a footnote
IMHO, the S23 does an amazing job (for a Cell Phone Cam) in "almost no" light.
Color is "as seen" in the dark, cloud-heavy night with the moon in-the-background reflecting off the clouds.
