The Last Hibiscus 2022

"Breath of Life"

Outdoors Before a Killing, Hard Freeze

After I took this photo, all the flowering plants, that I could "save", were brought inside the Solar Room. Wish I had a bigger Solar Room and could have saved more. It's sad to see the outdoors growing season end and plants die. But overnight is supposed to see a drop temperature into the low 20's and be record breaking cold. Fortunately, for now anyhow, all my hibiscuses are safe.

*****************

Exotic hibiscus 'Breath of Life' blooms with large 7-9" single cherry red flowers with an orange edge, a dark red eye, and white "breath" and rays that shoot all over the flower. The parents of 'Breath of Life' are brown and blue mother 'Typhoon' and pastel father 'Monet's Palette.' The bush is medium-sized and upright. Released from HVH in 2018. Hybridizer: C. Black
