"Fire and Ice" 2022

Tropical Hibiscus

Blooming Outside on Our Deck

It was 82 degrees again today.

*************************

The interesting thing to me about this plant was that it bloomed all Summer long with blue tones; NOT pink.... Suddenly, the flowers have now changed colors. Guess the photo above represents "Fall Colors." What an interesting surprise.

Background flowers are "Raspberry Ripple" Zinnias

"The most special thing about award winner 'Fire and Ice' is its dynamically beautiful eye. The 6-8" BLUE flowers light up with a huge red and white sparkling, swirling eye zone. The parents of 'Fire and Ice' are 'Crème de Cacao' and a big gray HVH seedling. The bush is medium sized and upright. Released from HVH in 2012. Hybridizer: C. Black"
