I find a lot of enjoyment and emotional peace in Nature. The pandemic and this “Stay-at-Home social isolation” situation hasn’t changed that. Admittedly some of Nature (like the hawk) I would be far happier if that wildlife remained in a wilder setting and away from my yard & away from my furbabies. Still, even the hawk is quite beautiful. If he were anywhere else, I could chill and actually enjoy watching him. Although they've become somewhat of a problem, I also enjoy watching the deer in our yard. For years, we’ve had deer visit from time to time. I’ve never grown tired of seeing these graceful creatures.
The problem this year stems from our next door neighbor habituating the wild animals that pass through the neighborhood, Humans have changed the normal flow of Nature. Still, the Summer of 2020 has had a lot of good moments because of Nature. I’ve enjoyed those good moments. I will miss them when the cold weather sets in…

The sun came out again today and the temperatures warmed up. So after being stuck indoors for several straight days of continuous cold rain, I was again able to spend some time outside.
My biggest photography excitement today may have been various insects feeding on pollen from my flowers. Deer also passed through the yard (without leaving anything behind) and the groundhog made an appearance. The hawk fortunately stayed totally away. New flowers were in bloom. The weather was beautiful. It was a peaceful and calming day. The moth in the photo above made a brief appearance. Like the skippers, he liked my marigolds. Yes, today was a good day. I didn’t do anything exciting & I was home all day. But I enjoyed every moment.
