4 Million COVID Cases USA (7-23-20)

Increasing Faster & Faster

Another dead squirrel today. The hawk is relentless.
How unsettling.

That is the latest news from home: where things are supposed to be "safe".

COVID UPDATE: "US surpasses 4 million reported coronavirus cases as hospitalizations near record"

Updated: July 24, 2020, 04:58 GMT
USA
4,169,991 Confirmed cases of COVID-19
147,333 American Deaths

"It took the country nearly 100 days to count its first 1 million cases, from January 21 to April 28.

It took only 15 days to rise from 3 million on July 8 to over 4 million infections today.

The country's rising daily rate of confirmed coronavirus cases, along with a near-record number of hospitalizations, signals the US is far from containing a virus that is straining hospitals and labs, health experts say.

What is becoming clear for statisticians at the CDC is that Covid-19 will end up among the top 10 causes of death in the country."

The above image started out as a flower I photographed today, but my mood about the COVID news doesn’t feel “flowery”….

I like the transformation Liz, it depicts your situation very well, with Covid and the Hawk. V
