A Full Month Today

of our family "stay-at-home" isolation

However, it's been a full 39 days (almost 6 weeks) for me and the girls.
It feels like almost "forever".

USA
792,759 cases of COVID-19
42,514 American Deaths
*************************************************************************

So much has happened in the last month. When we shut our doors to the outside world, there were less than 2,000 cases of COVID-19 Nationwide; plus under 200 deaths from the highly contagious virus. The pandemic was already rapidly growing in the USA. A month ago, those statistics were considered very high... That's why so many businesses had changed to tele commuting and so many communities implemented "Stay-at-Home" orders. In just 30 days time, it's amazing how differently we've come to now view the world situation. Two thousand cases Nationwide no longer seems like "a lot". Our state alone now has almost 6,000 cases of COVID-19 and is growing. Closer in, just our Metro has 1,600 confirmed cases and is growing. The death count is also steadily rising. It's a dangerous situation "out there".

Like everyone else, we would like our freedom back and a return to everyday life as we used to know it. Nevertheless, my husband & I have each other; plus the girls. So we are fine. As much as we would like to return to the outside world, we are listening to what the doctors & scientists have to say about how safe it is or isn't out there. We aren't depending on the politicians. We are staying safe. Tomorrow is the start of another month...

Aw, what a sweet look. Having pets definitely makes it easier to stay home.

Your being wise Liz, the health organisations know, the rest only think they do. We have been home for 72 days and plan to stay that way.
I love the little face and eyes looking into the camera. V

Poor Chile, she looks pretty frustrated, too.
