The foxes usually come out in the late evening or night when it's too dark to get a shot. However, this one was happily sun bathing in late afternoon on top a fresh bale of hay. This was the field: https://pbase.com/britestar/image/146034431
I saw two other foxes (close up) during my walk, but they were too fast to dive into the brush before I could get a photo.
