Never Forgotten

United States of America

It's been 18 years since this photo - with the caption - was taken and first printed.
Ten years later, the model went to the Rainbow Bridge as a very old dog.
He waits there; along with other loved ones.
The flag now goes with me everyday in my car.

A generation ago, one day in history changed our lives forever.
Yet, we remained strong.

Eighteen years later, we have not forgotten.

At this point, I could make a comment about #45 shockingly inviting the Taliban to American soil this week.
However, I won't say anything more than that most of the rest of us remember 9-11.
Today is a day of reflection to honor brave Americans; plus all the innocent souls lost.
Today is the anniversary of our innocence lost.

A wonderful 9/11 tribute. Your beautiful dog was quite the model.

A beautiful remembrance of that tragic day. He actually called it "7-11"...

A day to remember for sure. Happened on my birthday, so a good reminder for me.
