The above photo is a very mundane situation.
But aren't mundane situations the kind of situations that make up a large percentage of most of our lives? Most of these mundane situation usually pass completely without notice. Without a photo, this one would have also.

The Mini Story:
Leaving the chairs and cooler and blanket outside in the pouring rain, we found cover in the VFW tent with my camera gear. The "Wet Ones" are here, too, because we had just finished eating a funnel cake I had bought 2 seconds before the rain started to come down in buckets.
It rained so much that some areas just South of this location once again experienced both flash and river flooding. That was a serious situation that actually made the National news. However once this storm (3rd for the day) had finally passed our location, this particular Fourth of July celebration went on. Some others in the Metro were postponed or cancelled. The location where-were-where, had lingering very large puddles that remained both inside and outside of the tent for the rest of the day. These lingering deep puddles were especially yucky into the porta potties. Fortunately, that was the worst of things for us.
I shot this image while waiting for my husband to return from draining our chairs (filled like a kitchen sink with water) from the intense rain. Mu husband was surprised about that... I expected it. Since the soaked chairs couldn't quickly dry in the humid conditions, I used blankets from my car as a seat cover. So a little rain didn't end up spoiling our day. As I said, a totally mundane story that normally would have passed without notice.
