Although it's been there for many years, I have never before noticed this large tree in our neighborhood. Growing wild - mixed in between a lot of other foliage - it can easily go unnoticed when the orchid-like flowers are not in full bloom. These flowers were high up on the tree that sits behind a lot of other brushes and smaller trees. I discovered it during our walk at the Golden Hour. I like to walk in the evening because it's both cooler and the lighting is softer. Because the flowers were so far away, I had to wait to photograph them until I went back a couple of days later with the super reach of the Nikon P900.
