The Amaryllis bulb was bought for the Christmas Season about a half dozen or so years ago and has bloomed every year since. Despite all the directions on the Internet, I've never done anything special to get it to rebloom. It has just done what it wants to do.
However, I think this late May blooming (normal blooming season in Nature) may be the end of this bulb. The first 3 years, the bulb put out two flower stalks with four heads each. The next years, it had only one flower stalk with four flowers. This year, there was just one flower stalk with just only two flower heads. I also don't now see any new leaves forming. That's not a good sign.
Nevertheless, it has still given me years of pleasure with its attractive flowers.
