New to my collection this year, this plant produces the largest hibiscus blooms I've ever seen!!!
A photo doesn't even begin to do this bloom justice. It was positively huge and unbelievably gorgeous.

Found at the Home Depot garden center, the plant unfortunately was not tagged as a named variety. So unlike many of my other hibiscus plants, I don't know its "name". To be very honest, I didn't even totally know what I was buying because it wasn't in bloom when I first got it. What a wonderful surprise. Sadly, the flowers only last a single day.

of a "normal sized", red hibiscus. The leaves on both plants are the same size. But the blossom on this variety dwarfs the leaves.
