Happy Valentine's Day 2019

Today I'll be with my sweetie.

Tomorrow I get on a plane and head to New Zealand.
Plans are to be back home at the very end of March. Long assignment again.
I'm going to miss my sweetie; plus our four footed kids. But first, today is ours.

The above photo is of the new plant that I got for Valentine's Day. These flowers are much smaller than most Kalanchoes I've had in the past, but the bright red is a first for me. Unlike cut, Valentine's roses, this Kalanchoe will also still be here when I get home from my trip.
Plus bloom again in the future.

Here is a photo from another Valentine's Day, from the past:

while I was also in New Zealand.

Because (for some reason) I often find myself on the road somewhere & away from home during "Valentine's Day",
I am glad that I get to spend the evening with my husband this year.
I don't start to travel until tomorrow.

Not only will they still be there, but you can take multiple cuttings and grow more of them
over time. v
