The day the blooms first opened in 2018

Knowing that Severe Weather was on tap for the next day of Friday the 13th, my husband gave a strong suggestion that - if I wanted to photograph the flowers on the Bradford Pear this year - I should do it ASAP. So I grabbed my super zoom bridge camera & fired off a few shots from my deck; just in I was unable to get out the next day with a DSLR.

Luckily, I was able to go out the next day (with the DSLR & two lens)before the severe thunderstorms moved in.

Unfortunately, both day's shooting experiences were done in exceptionally high wind; which isn't the best situation for this type of photography.
