I made this live material, Swag myself during the first few days in December.
When it was freshly made, it actually was quite pretty.

I really intended to get a better photo of the swag; beyond just this quick snap that I grabbed one day on my way out the door. However, that goal never came to be. For some reason, I never was able to find an ability to take the time nor effort to get a really good photo.
Still, I do at least have a Memory Shot. So all was not lost.
Unfortunately, the swag didn't hold up as well as the Holiday Arrangement I also made: https://www.pbase.com/image/166818178 Even in this photo, the live swag is starting to show quite a bit of aging. By the very day next day after this, it really started to rain (uh, pour) needles. What a mess. So we had to immediately take the swag down the day after Christmas. By that point, it was almost bald... The poinsettia on the floor below sadly was drowning in most of the swag's evergreen needles.
Thus, I missed a chance to follow up with my plan to photograph the swag when things were less hectic after the holiday & without the harsh backlighting in this shot.
Lesson learned. If I ever create another live, holiday swag from scratch again, I'll hang it outside next time - not in our warm foyer.
