I wanted to see the elephants again before they soon disappear into mere circus history.

For close to 200 years, elephants have a long running part of circus tradition. Seeing them brings back many happy childhood memories for both young & old. Without the elephants in the future, the circus won't seem as much like a "real circus".

This photo is current. The image was shot pre show: circa 2015.
However in 3 years, all will be mere nostalgia. No more circus elephants. History moves on.
