Snow and Record Cold 2014

"The high temperature on Sunday was 5 degrees. This is 45 degrees below average. It would be like having a 45 degree high temperature in July, that's how unusual this was."
Quote from Gary Lezack, local NBC weatherman.

The overnight low was then minus -7 degrees below zero Fahrenheit; which was the LOWEST recorded March temperature EVER in Metro history!!!
Meteorological Spring for the Northern hemisphere, spring began on March 01, 2014. Give me a break already!!! It was so cold this morning that my husband had to hand shovel the driveway because his "toys" wouldn't start below zero to do the job.

We are just coming out of a hot summer, don't think I could stand it that cold...

We've been colder than ever here in Houston too. But only in the 30s. Not anything like 5 degrees... I would die, I'm sure.

LOLOLOLOL!!! I feel your pain Liz because we've also been caught in the grips of old man winter. When will this nonsense end?????

With those cold temperatures and snow....the tractor will come in pretty handy! V

This says it all! But the tractor can be a reminder that spring will come!
