I can hardly believe that I hand held this shot at 1/6 second
especially after 2 martinis, a half bottle of wine, and a glass of port.
Dating back to 1860 & once on the on the National Register of Historic Places, Emery, Bird, Thayer Dry Goods Company known as EBT, closed in 1968 and was torn down in 1971." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emery,_Bird,_Thayer_Dry_Goods_Company
Opening in 1979, EBT Restaurant then used salvage décor from the historic, downtown, Kansas City department store. Note the Arches, Pillars, and Chandeliers.
For a somewhat better exposed, closer look at the lamps that make up one of the chandeliers, go to http://www.pbase.com/update_image/154494385
Unfortunately, the SL1 could not handle the dynamic range well enough to get that detail in this shot.
If I had known that I'd be shooting this scene, I would have opted for both a different camera body and difference lens: like the 1Dx with a wide angle lens.
