Testing the Canon SL1

Although Still Life isn't my thing, this image gave me a chance to experiment with the lens and camera body.

FYI, the sculpture is Inuit http://www.gallerycanada.com/ The stone is dolomite.
I found this piece while I was in Churchill, Manitoba after a week of photographing Polar Bears at Hudson Bay.

although from the thumbnail they wern't going to be real, they are good enough to take part in a gallery with the real ones in
