Bailey and the Sunflower

A Tradition Started When Bailey was 9 Months Old.

In 2014, we went to a Sunflower Farm that is only in bloom for less than 2 weeks each year. Acres and acres of sunflowers as far as the eye can see.
The Sunflowers in this gallery (with the exemption of the Pandemic Years of 2020 and 2021) are sunflowers that we brought home from the Sunflower Farm that first year, and then each year since.

The first 2 years were shot with only a Cell Phone just to capture the Memories.
For more recent years, I used a DSLR (or Mirrorless body) to capture the art as well keep the memories.
Some of those images became commercial greeting cards that you may have seen in the stores.
Bailey is the best canine model and always enjoys posing for the camera. That has given her a career.
When I now think of Sunflowers, I think of Bailey.
