Red Rock Sunset #2

One very, very difficult image to capture - and I'm still working on it. Obviously I've had to bring down the brightness of the sky and background considerably to hold any detail and keep the foreground colors vivid. This is a combination of two images, one three stops below the other. I've manually combined these in Photoshop, but see that I can improve considerably on the merging of these images...

ah, a perfect moment! the delicacie. sp? of the white tiny clouds, there gentle fraglie scale with the weight of the stone!!! :) wonderful wonderful image, i would frame this one as well!!! vote... ps i shot a cloud over my little lake after returning from a long drive from vermotn... and the pink colors i hple were sweimming in the water and the cloud gently illuminated... if i can get it into my harddrvie i will pad it later today!!! bravo on this stunning image!!! maybe my fav!!

this is the one I prefer the most, great colours, good composition and the balance between the frontground and the background is perfect
