Rarely am I really satisfied with the photographs that I've taken from near the top of Schnebly
Hill Road - I'm not sure why, but they almost never convey the beauty of the moment present.
This time was different. At this time of year (early Spring) the sun sets directly behind the
butte at the base of the valley. It was spectacular to watch as the last rays of the sun stretched
across the Verde Valley that evening...
This image is a composite of three images, stitched together to form a horizontal panorama. While
several of my other images of this sunset were nice, the wide panorama here is by far my favorite.
