Nearly every time I go to the Bibliothèque Nationale (site Tolbiac), I pass in front of this staircase, one of the older parts of a neighborhood that is in the midst of a massive transformation.
One thing I like about this staircase is that the sign on the left, "rue du Chevaleret," is the sign for the street on the bottom. The sign on the lower right is for the rue de Tolbiac, which is at the top of the stair.
