Port o'Bello was one of our naval victories in the 18c off the coast of south america .There was a farm about half a mile sraight down this road named after it.All long gone in the 19c but the antique and fruit and veg with a flee market makes for a very varied morning wander and just ten minutes by tube from Oxford Circus.Lots of media people and celebrities live around here as there are many substantial properties and quiet squares.
