Fill Them Up

Mississippi River

The four ships in the background are at two different refiners taking on a load of gasoline. Both refineries are running close to maximum capacities. I stopped by the river to take a shot of the ships waiting when I saw this. A good sign that things are getting better.

The river is still a beautiful sight. What do you think will happen to the oil companies if this hurricane hits around Houston??

Nice image made more meaningful after Katrina. Good job, Bre.

The gas prices came down here. Maybe this is the reason. It's amazing that the river looks so normal now. Back to being a place to take a lovely scenic photo like this one.

Nice one, Bre. I hope Rita doesn't mess up the Gulf and the Houston-area refineries, now that we're seeing progrees here.

Nice shot. I noticed there was one added ship this evening as I came over the Spillway levee and thought they were waiting to get to New Orleans. Thanks for helping me with my camera and computer, too. You talk my kind of Greek.
