South of the crooked house there is another important bridge on the Wiesent, the Hundsbrücke. From here you not only have a beautiful view of Little Venice,
but also of the old fish boxes from the 17th century. In the olden days, fishmongers' carp were kept here until they were sold.

The Wiesent is the main river of Franconian Switzerland (Upper Franconia/Bavaria). It has its source in Steinfeld (district of Bamberg)
and flows into the Main-Danube Canal and the Regnitz near Forchheim.
