The castle in Forchheim (also called Kaiserpfalz) was an important town castle of the Bamberg bishop in the town of Forchheim in Upper Franconia.
The castle was built in the late 14th century. According to extensive archaeological and architectural studies,
it is one of the best-researched complexes of this time in Central Europe.
