Josef-Görres Platz

... at this place you may see the interesting History column called Historiensäule with a fauntain which was made in 1992. It is 10 meters high representing the history of Koblenz from the time of Romans (at the bottom of the fountain), the French and the Prussian time and the destruction in the Second World War up to the present day.

I wanted to stop at this great statue and fountain but our group was hurrying back to the boat when we passed by it so I only got a quick shot of it. It was very cool looking. So much to see. V
