It is the black and white treatment of the tree trunk that throws people off.
If you saw it all in color you would know exactly what it is. I often look at my color shots and see if they would look as good or better in Black and White. I liked the contrast turning the tree trunk to black and white but I didn't like what it did to the flowers and it was just an OK shot keeping it all color.
Those are bluebells surrounding the tree trunk. Can't have black and white blue bells, now can we?
