M44 The Beehive Cluster

M44 The Beehive Cluster, also known as the Praesepe, is a large open star cluster in the constellation Cancer.
Visable to the naked eye, it covers an area as large as three full moons (1.5 degrees).
Best observed with binoculars or rich field telescopes.
