Not really. Faras does not exist anymore. It was flooded by Nasser Lake. Anyway Faras was not situated on an island. And not between the 2nd and 3rd cataracts but to the north of 2nd cataract. Oh, and this is just a copy. The original fresco (St Anna) one can see in the National Museum in Warsaw, Poland.
