Prizren, in southern kosovo, is an ancient and tranquil city nestled along a shallow river beside a green hill--a picturesque setting unfortunately marred by destroyed houses and churches surrounded by barbed wire and NATO troops. I met some great guys there, who bought me beers and wanted to talk about sports and movies, not war.
