The larger plant was cut or knocked down by hunters January 2009. >:(
July 2010: I stuffed the broken top of the larger plant into a hole in the mud at the time, and though it has not grown perceptibly it is still green, so it must have rooted. The original two plants are still about the size of the larger one in this photo. Hopefully the larger plant will heal enough to flower some day.
