Low groundcover found abundantly in disturbed areas (trails, roads) on wet windward Mauna Loa, photo from about 3600ft elevation. Looks like a mint, but it's actually in the snapdragon family with mullien and veronica. I've seen this referred to as both torenia asiatica and torenia glabra.
