Beyond the Reverend’s Home

I know it looks like I went nutzo with the color saturation on this one but believe me, I only tweaked it a bit and then I had to tone down the reds. The country road was ablaze from the late afternoon sun. It glowed the full 360 degrees. I pulled my car to one side of the road and set the tripod in the middle of the street. Folks around here are so nice, they all wanted to chat or wait while I took the photo.

Either they are so nice or word has gotten around that the older fellow with the Harley and the camera gear is really quite mad.

A really great photograph. I have seen color in the mountains when things were near perfect and you get such as this that need little or nothing done to them. I have spent hours looking at your galleries (especially Cades Cove, Smoky Mtns etc and your work is good as it gets. Quite amazing and thanks for letting us see such stunning photographs.

Defiantly a wall hanger Buz. The light, the color and the s-curve all blend to make this a spectacular shot. If the town folks stopped and wait it was because they wanted to make sure that the crazy photographer captured this beautiful sight. Post a lot as I never get tired of pic's like this.
