Shark Watch

This year saw a higher than usual number of shark attacks off the coasts of North and South Carolina. By the end of June there were 14 reported. While we were in the Outer Banks, there were two attacks in two days. The first occurred on the beach of the RV Park where our motorhome was parked. The second was further away but we happened to drive past as they were airlifting an older man to the hospital.

A nod of appreciation to PBaser Dave Petersen for sharing his IR technique. His IR work is wonderful.

The black and white sky adds an ominous mood to the threat hidden under the waves. Voted.

I think i'd be leery of even being with them. The ominous clouds are relevant.

Beautifully done Buzz. I am glad this process worked well for you. A very dramatic capture that has a very nice play of light and shadow. The IR look really makes the sky dynamic and powerful. Really nice work!! Voted++

Fortunately shark attacks are very rare here, I'd be watching from further up the beach if I was there.

The same here on our eastern coastline, Buz...more than usual. Personally I'm happy to let them have the water to themselves. :)
Another great share among pbasers, good work from both you & Dave. V
