Managed to get a fly by shooting at the Smithsonian Greenhouses
this afternoon before I had to pick my wife up at the airport.
Fortunately this uncommon laelia was in full bloom and with the
assistance from Jim (looking at a real softbox vice SB-800 flash
lighting) I was able to get this nice shot of this beautiful white flower.
This is two blooms of eight on this inflorescence that's 4-5 fee long.
