I feel like I should be re-writing Jonathan Livingston Seagull! I went
out today for a great day on the bay in hopes of getting some great shots.
I can tell I'm rusty, had a couple reasonable series of Bald eagles flying overhead,
and some Green-winged Teals, and a reasonable shot of a male Bufflehead, and what
shot turns out the best, you guessed it. This is straight from the camera, resized,
sharpened and posted. I'll probably post some of the other birds in birds of Southern
MD later this week, they just aren't up to this quality.
I guess I need some more practice ;o))

I actually got some great shots of this small gull, one I wasn't familiar with before,
on first impression I almost thought it might be a tern.
