I went to Flag Ponds today in hopes of shooting some insects with my 80-400 for practice
more than anything. When I got there someone told me the ospreys were feeding just off the shore,
and she was RIGHT! I got several good shots of ospreys diving and catching fish, a 600mm lens
would have been nice but what I got was very nice!
I stopped by the inshore pond on the way back to the car and all the ospreys were eating their
catch there, which is where I got this shot!
On the way back home the sun was just setting so I quickly stopped at the Navy Rec Center on
Soloman's Island and this shot is right out of the camera!
