Mornings like today's don't come often so my biggest challenge was picking a single PaD entry.
There was a low level fog bank that moved over the beach area on base that never really burned of. But it fluctuated in thickness and as the sun came up it there were several periods of strikingly different colors. Immediately after this shot I went around the corner to shoot the available birds in the soft light, and just as I was finishing up a flock of Trumpter Swans flew in.
The extra non PaD submissions are in a PaD extra gallery at the end of this gallery.
